Barre Bootcamp
Belly up to the BARRE for a ballet-infused Pilates workout designed to sculpt muscle, burn calories and make some new friends while becoming a part of an amazing local fitness & wellness community.
Barre is the class where ballet meets Pilates and mobility but You don’t need any dance experience—you won't be doing pirouettes. You’ll start with a mat-based warm-up with variations of planks and push-ups, followed by more upper body resistance exercises, and continue at the barre with a series of standing lower-body exercises to work your thighs, calves and glutes. Finally, you’ll finish the workout with core-focused moves at the barre or a short ab session on the mat and then cool down with some stretching. Moves are mostly bodyweight, but variations are offered with resistance bands, bender balls and light weights to fire up your muscles! Feel free to wear sweats or leggings a t shirt or tank top and rock your socks or go barefoot on your yoga mat.
If you’re looking to sweat we won’t disappoint as each class is set to a pace and beat that offers you a cardio workout along with muscle sculpting movements and a deep closing stretch for optimal recovery and mobility!
